I earned his BA in Fine art at the “Cardiff Institute of Art and Design” where I established my craft in painting and 3 dimensional art, in clay & pot work. The ink illustration drawings are developed to contrast my loose approach in abstract oil paintings All of the ink drawings were all created free hand and take approximately 12 hours to complete an image, size 11x14. A basic outline of the focal image is drawn in pencil and then each space left open is filled with flat 2 dimensional ink pattern. Each element of a design is created based on its relevance to the image being portrayed.

All the ink drawings are drawn freehand and several have been used as illustrations for several poster and book covers.

Each of the drawings have different subject matter but are all bonded by the elements of time and each image has a story to be told.
If you look carefully at some of the pictures you might at first get a period impression however the feelng of the image takes you some where else, to an uncertain time ,even possibly the future.
There are combinations of old and new that creates it's own possibilities towards the imagination and enters a whole new dimension into story telling.
